Year of the Bone

Year of the Bone – During this year, Vampires reap the retaliation from previous crimes against society (usually begun in the previous year or two). This is the year things turn around for the worse, as a whole, and they find themselves most hunted since their attempts to live with the Living.

Vampires born during the Year of the Bone have the odds stacked against them. Usually, after nearly a decade of trying to coexist with the Living, Vampires are hunted by mankind, often taking cover in old haunts and castles, many returning to their ancestral homelands to seek refuge. Vampires born during this year bear the mark of the Bone.
