Year of the Moon – This is the most dangerous time for Humans during the Vampire Zodiac. In the ten-year cycle, the moon's pull is highest for the entire year. While not detectable to Humans, or even science, Vampires are highly aware of the draw. Blood in Humans runs higher, nearer to the surface of the skin, during this year.
Vampires born during Year of the Moon have a higher than usual awareness of blood in humans, making their keen sense less controllable. Moon Vampires in the Human world sometimes live as rogues, conflicted and driven, by a desire to be among the living while still tempted. They are skilled in and fascinated by the arts, combat, and culinary fields—any behavior that leads them to Human interaction while still providing nearly irresistible temptation.
